YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading, supporting, and developing the procurement team (currently 2 direct reports)

Overseeing and executing the company's direct and indirect procurement activities, including operational administration

Identifying new suppliers and evaluating the performance of existing partners while renegotiating contract terms

Developing and implementing cost-reduction strategies
-
Optimizing procurement processes and ensuring efficient resource management

Centralizing procurement-related activities from different areas of the company into a single organizational unit

Actively participating in the development of the procurement framework
-
Negotiating procurement contracts and agreements to secure the most favorable terms
-
Collaborating with the finance and production departments, as well as managing procurement-related administration within the ERP system

Handling complaints and claims
-
Communicating with customs agencies (via email and phone)
YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
-
Relevant University degree (Logistics/Procurement)
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Hungarian
-
At least 5 years of experience in procurement (including at least 2 years in a leadership role)

Experience working with an ERP system (knowledge of IFS is an advantage)
-
Are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel at an advanced level
