M&A Project Expert

Mol Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Expert to support the senior project manager in complex and high-value projects.

• Take ownership of small to medium-scale, non-complex inorganic projects or specific project components across Upstream, Downstream, and Non-core business areas.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while actively managing associated risks.
• Support senior project managers in complex, high-value strategic projects, gaining exposure to large-scale M&A initiatives.
• Conduct industry research and monitor market trends to identify new project opportunities aligned with MOL’s strategic goals.
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for executive decision-making.
• Develop and coordinate detailed project plans, including resource allocation and consultant engagement.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with technical, financial, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and authorities, to drive project success.
• Evaluate project outcomes and contribute to post-implementation reviews and strategic insights.

• University degree in Economics or Engineering
• 3–4 years of relevant M&A experience
• Strong project management and independent working skills
• Broad understanding of industry trends and business operations
• Knowledge of enterprise valuation, financial and legal frameworks
• Familiarity with MOL Group is an advantage
• Strategic mindset, flexibility, and excellent problem-solving abilities
• High level of reliability and discretion with confidential information
• User-level MS office knowledge
• Fluent English skills with a broad area of expertise
