Tax Specialist

​Ensure compliance with tax laws and ensure tax optimization within business objectives.

Position Snapshot  
 

• Location: Budapest (IX. district) and Home Office
• Education: College or University degree (Economic / Finance)
• Experience: More than 5 years of experience in Tax or Accounting area 
• Language: Strong English and fluent Hungarian language knowledge in written and spoken

• Prepare the tax audits and tax litigations, provide the required information in time and in a good quality.
• Ensure the effective communication/representation with tax authorities, external advisors, and external auditors
• Works closely with NBS (Nestlé Business Services), preparing and updating the relevant standard routines.
• Timely preparation or checking and submit of indirect tax returns, notifications, and letters of objection, appeals
• Timely preparation of the tax forecast and payments on the different taxes for the 3 legal entities.
• Advising on tax matters in business transactions and cooperation in company projects across functions.
• Keeps others informed about changes to tax laws, tax jurisprudence and considers the impact on business
• Execute in-scope processes on time and with the highest level of quality. This includes General ledger activities, Period-End-Close activities, Internal & Reporting activities or specifically assigned areas.
• Manages the online invoicing report, ensure the high quality.
• Check the EKAER, BIREG and other registration in the company, provide the necessary information for the users.
• Manage the HS code classification flow, update the process.
• Manage tax administration (permits, certificates from Tax Authority)

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address and influence internal and external customers
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change
• Team player, persistent, patient  
• SAP experience is an advantage
• Experience in tax area or accounting area
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Advanced analytical skills
