Oversee payroll procedures to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time.
Review payroll data, timesheets, and attendance records; correct inaccuracies when necessary.
Manage payment transactions via e-banking and ensure compliance with tax and benefits regulations.
Conduct regular audits on payroll processes and records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Prepare payroll-related reports and forecasts for management.
Handle payroll tasks for assigned countries, including tax and benefits administration.
Manage payroll calendars and year-end closing activities.
Support onboarding and offboarding payroll processes.
Liaise with payroll service providers and benefit partners.
Respond to employee enquiries regarding salaries and tax in HR systems.
Stay up-to-date on payroll and tax legislation.
Requirements
Higher education degree or equivalent professional qualification.
4–6 years of relevant experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
Hands-on experience with payroll software and HR databases.
Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and business proficiency in English and Hungarian.
