Operations manager

• Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring smooth material flow.
• Manage and guide supervisors, team coordinators, and other operational staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and quality management standards (DP World, BMW).
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Monitor stock movements, inventory accuracy, and process performance.
• Prepare and participate in internal and external audits.
• Coordinate and supervise internal trainings.
• Maintain direct communication with the customer and represent DP World professionally.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (KVP, 5S) and ensure workplace organization standards.
• Support planning and resource allocation, including absence and substitution management.

Minimum vocational qualification (technical or logistics background preferred)
B-category driving license
Previous logistics experience (metal industry, automotive, or warehousing preferred)
Proven leadership experience in a similar environment
Strong MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) skills
Good command of English or German
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Reliability, accountability, and a proactive mindset

Experience in automotive logistics (BMW or tier-1 suppliers)
Knowledge of QHSE and process improvement systems
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems
