Responsibilities
MAIN TASKS:
- Development and implementation of internal regulations and instructions in the field of health, safety and environmental protection
- Cooperation with the Regional Manager of HSEE in the field of health and safety and environmental protection, implementation of corporate standards regarding health and safety and environmental protection
- Safer system operation: accident reporting and investigation; EHS data and KPI reporting
- Cooperation with the (names of local authorities) and other local and government administration bodies in the field of health&safety and environmental protection
- Contact for outside agencies such as Fire Department, OSHA and environmental regulators
- Keeping the documentation required for the plant by the relevant legal regulations in the field of health&safety and environmental protection
- Supervision of the company's compliance with legal requirements in the field of health&safety and environmental protection
- Controlling the compliance with environmental protection regulations and rules on the premises of the plant and at each workplace designated by the employer
- Informing the management about identified threats and applying to appropriate organizational units for their removal
- Participation in the commissioning of newly built or modernized facilities and production stations, as well as other devices that affect the plant's impact on the natural environment
- Responsibilities resulting from the responsibilities assigned in global procedures and global, regional and local level instructions
- Responsibilities related with developing maturity of ISO 14001, 45001, 50001 systems
- Ensuring compliance with FM global standards and local law requirements related with fire safety
- Cooperate with plant management to implement corporate EHS objectives and targets
- Conduct safety and environmental orientation program
- Evaluate facility for safety hazards and develop proactive strategies to address inefficiencies
- Coordination of the corresponding subordinate
- Responsibility and accountability for prevention of injury/ill-health and provision of a Safe & Healthy workplace
- Establishing OH&S policy & objectives
- Developing, leading and promoting a culture in the organization that supports the intended outcomes of the OH&S Management System
- Protecting workers from reprisals when reporting the incidents, hazards, risks and opportunities
- Ensuring resources needed to establish, implement, maintain and improve the OH&S Management System
- Communicating the importance of effective OH&S Management System and of conformity to the OH&S Management System
- Directing & Supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the OH&S Management System
- Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility
- Ensuring the organization establishes and implements a processes for consultation and participation of workers
- Supporting the establishment and functioning of H&S committees
- Integrating OH&S processes with business processes
- Ensuring that the OH&S Management System achieves its intended outcomes
- Ensuring and promoting continual improvement
Requirements
- Relevant experience
- Helth & Safety and/or Fire safety certificate (OKJ or degree) is a must
- Confident knowledge of the Hungarian Health and Safety, Environmental protection Regulations
- Fluent english knowledge
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Technical University degree is advantage
- Travel within hungary is required once every two weeks. (To another factory of the company group)
