Safety engineer

Our international industrial client is looking for a Safety Engineer specialized in Fire Protection to join their growing team in Nyíregyháza. The role will support a major greenfield manufacturing investment and related logistics operations.
This is a great opportunity to join a large-scale industrial project in an early phase and play a key role in ensuring fire safety compliance during construction and operational preparation.

• Provide fire safety support for a new manufacturing plant construction project in Nyíregyháza
• Ensure compliance with fire protection regulations and safety standards
• Participate in the planning and implementation of fire protection systems
• Support fire safety planning during the construction phase
• Oversee fire safety requirements for a logistics warehouse operation
• Cooperate with internal teams, contractors, and external authorities
• Support audits, inspections, and safety documentation

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Fire protection / fire safety certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire safety or safety engineering
• Experience in industrial or construction environments is an advantage
• Good understanding of fire protection regulations and compliance
• Strong communication and coordination skills
