QA Intern

TCS Hungary, in its IT services area, implements best-in-class solutions for the Business 4.0 era, enabling strong digital foundations for our customers worldwide. Our work includes hybrid cloud solutions, hand-in-hand with Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services native architectures,building scalable and efficient solutions. Our scope of work covers agile, cloud-based and fullstack application development, DevOps automation and many more.

• Learn QA/testing principles
• Design and implement automation end to end tests
• Work with Playwright or similar testing frameworks
• Learn large scale, cloud native software architectures
• Work in agile development methodology
• Gain experience working at a fast-growing, truly colourful company
• Work closely with senior engineer colleagues and mentors

• A full-time BSc/MSc student enrolled at a Hungarian university studying Computer Science or related studies
• Required to complete a mandatory internship during your studies which is no more than 320 hours

About the internship:

• Internship start date: 22nd June, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks (320 hours, 40 hours/week)
• Recruitment process will end latest by 31st May (or when all roles are fulfilled)

The key requirements for the intern role are:

• Fluent English and interest in an international experience
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or Cypress, Playwright and would like to extend your skills as a QA engineer
• Interest in modern testing practices
• Interest in large scale, international development projects

... and it would be nice if you know:

• Playwright or similar for Automated testing or understands ISTQB principles
• Developing automated tests with JavaScript or TypeScript and related testing concepts (unit testing, module testing, integration testing, smoke testing, etc.)
• Manual testing concepts
