A Payroll Analyst position opened at our multinational client's Budapest office. They have become a European IT security innovator, specialising in advanced monitoring techniques.
As a Payroll Analyst, you will:
- Oversee payroll procedures to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time.
- Review payroll data, timesheets, and attendance records; correct inaccuracies when necessary.
- Manage payment transactions via e-banking and ensure compliance with tax and benefits regulations.
- Conduct regular audits on payroll processes and records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare payroll-related reports and forecasts for management.
- Handle payroll tasks for assigned countries, including tax and benefits administration.
- Manage payroll calendars and year-end closing activities.
- Support onboarding and offboarding payroll processes.
- Liaise with payroll service providers and benefit partners.
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding salaries and tax in HR systems.
- Stay up-to-date on payroll and tax legislation.
What you will need to succeed:
- Higher education degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software and HR databases.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and business proficiency in English and Hungarian.
