A Payroll Analyst position opened at our multinational client's Budapest office. They have become a European IT security innovator, specialising in advanced monitoring techniques.
As a Payroll Analyst, you will:

  • Oversee payroll procedures to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time.
  • Review payroll data, timesheets, and attendance records; correct inaccuracies when necessary.
  • Manage payment transactions via e-banking and ensure compliance with tax and benefits regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits on payroll processes and records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and forecasts for management.
  • Handle payroll tasks for assigned countries, including tax and benefits administration.
  • Manage payroll calendars and year-end closing activities.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding payroll processes.
  • Liaise with payroll service providers and benefit partners.
  • Respond to employee enquiries regarding salaries and tax in HR systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on payroll and tax legislation.


What you will need to succeed:

  • Higher education degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software and HR databases.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and business proficiency in English and Hungarian.
