General Ledger Operations Manager

• Your Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and develop a GL-focused finance team of around 40 professionals
  • Actively support the transition of GL and related finance processes from various European entities to Hungary
  • Ensure smooth integration of finance process models into SAP ECC from multiple local ERP systems
  • Oversee GL operations and ensure accuracy, compliance and timely execution
  • Drive process harmonization, standardization and continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement development opportunities, including technology-enabled solutions
  • Present strategic directions and operational visions to stakeholders across all levels
  • Coach and develop team members and leaders
  • Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders

• You Are a Great Fit If You Have

  • 5+ years of people management experience in a financial SSC
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • Experience in GL or R2R operations (team management experience up to 40 FTE)
  • Transition / migration experience is an advantage
  • SAP (or other ERP) knowledge
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams
  • High attention to detail and strong prioritization capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong continuous improvement and quality-focused mindset
