Branch Manager Hungary

• Overseeing all day-to-day corporate affairs, including planning, organizing, and coordinating.
• Being responsible forall operational and commercial activities of the branch in Hungary;
• Reporting directly to the European Sales Manager.
• Creating a business environment where it’s possible for the company to hire, manage and develope all employees in both business and job specific competencies.
• The main aim is to make profit by managing the staff, setting and achieving business goals.
• Managing resources with the right balance for short-term business results and long-term sustainable development
• Coordinate and supervise business activities based on distribution, pricing and sales of products and services.
• Develop and implement product marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and sales promotions.
• Manage the budget by reviewing financial statements, sales reports, activity reports, and other performance data and act accordingly.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policy.
• Make recommendations on equipment and suggest areas for improvement based on daily practice.
• Collaborate with industry-leading horticultural products.
• Build and maintain good personal relationships with key customers and other relevant industry partners such as greenhouse builders, seed companies, nurseries, authorities, horticultural press.
• Implement strategies to increase market share.
• Management of multinational staff in consultation with the European Trade Manager.

• Degree in horticulture/economy is an advantage.
• 5 to 10 years relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of / experience with the Hungarian agricultural market.
• An impressive command of the English language
• Residency in Hungary (preferably in the south-east region.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experienced in managing a (sales) team.
• Can cooperate with branch managers from other countries.
