The Technical Translator Intern supports Eaton’s in-house Language Services team by translating and post-editing technical product and documentation content related to Product Data Hub (PDH). The role is designed for students who want hands-on experience in technical translation, terminology management, and structured translation workflows within a global industrial organization.

• • Translate technical product documentation and PDH‑related content from English to Italian in line with Eaton’s translation and language policies
  • Implement reviewer feedback and participate in quality‑assurance checks to ensure accuracy, terminology consistency, and clarity
  • Support terminology collection and documentation using approved templates and processes
  • Use standard office tools and internal translation workflows to manage assigned tasks and meet agreed deadlines
  • Collaborate with the Language Services team and reviewers, following escalation and communication guidelines when questions or issues arise

• • Full-time student status (active/passive)
  • Confident spoken and written English
  • Native/Close-to-native Italian language skills
  • Commitment of 20-25 hours per week
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Confident in using Excel
  • Engineering background/degree is an advantage
