This position is part of the Budapest finance team and supports the work of the Finance & Accounting Manager, acting as their backup when required. The role involves independent financial task management and active participation in improving processes within a dynamic international corporate environment.
Key responsibilities:

Playing a key role in the implementation and ongoing optimization of the ERP system

Close collaboration with operational and regional teams (Spanish and Italian colleagues)

Active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes; posting accruals and provisions

Supporting and, when necessary, substituting the Finance & Accounting Manager

Preparation of local financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

Supporting Hungarian tax calculations and tax returns
-
Participation in fixed asset accounting and depreciation review
-
Monthly interest calculations and FX revaluation on SHL
-
Supporting group-level reporting towards headquarters

Maintaining reporting packages and consolidation data

Intercompany reconciliations between entities
-
Cost analysis by country / business line
-
Preparing ad hoc financial analyses

Monitoring and forecasting cash flow performance

Participation in regular meetings with Spanish and Italian stakeholders

Supporting the local implementation of group finance initiatives
Requirements:

Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
-
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience

Experience in ERP implementation projects

Strong understanding of financial processes

Advanced Excel skills

Knowledge of IFRS

Native-level Hungarian language skills

Excellent English communication skills

Highly proactive attitude
