Senior Accounting & Reporting Specialist Subject Matter Expert

  Join BP's Accounting, Reporting & Controlling team supporting the Trading & Shipping business!

  In this role, you will take ownership of monthly and quarterly closings, support audit processes, and work closely with global, regional teams. You'll also play an active role in automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with IFRS and BP Group policies.

  What you'll do:

  • Manage monthly and quarterly closings and related reporting
  • Prepare financial statements, analysis, and audits
  • Drive process standardisation and automation projects
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders across regions
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal accounting standards

• What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting
  • Strong SAP and Excel skills
  • Confident English communication
  • Background in banking, investment banking, or energy is a plus
  • Proactive and motivated attitude with a focus on excellence
