Responsibilities

Performing the general ledger tasks of the companies operating under the responsibility of the SSC operating in Hungary. Analysis and verification of data.

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, preparation of reconciliations
  • Accounting and management of accruals
  • Posting of wages and accruals
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Posting taxes based on instructions provided by the Taxation Department
  • Participation in the closing process (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Liaising with partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT, FP&A)
  • Liaison and data provision to auditors, tax advisors, the Central Statistical Office, the National Bank of Hungary
  • Responsible for compliance with USGAAP and local accounting regulations

Requirements

  • A university or college degree in finance/accounting or a chartered accountant qualification
  • Intermediate English language skills
  • Ability to work independently, reliability, accuracy
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of SAP or JDE (ERP software)
  • Black Line Knowledge
  • Strong excel knowledge
