Finance Service Business Partner Specialist

Role purpose:

As a finance service business partner, you will support the CSO (Finops, IO and CIS) services to ensure that business needs are being met. You are responsible for aggregating and support management the Group Finance business requirements. Being a service business partner, you are enabeling oversight on Corporate IT, IO services and non-R2R process performance delivered by CSO.

What you'll do:

  • Support the definition, implementation and management of the framework for the effective oversight CSO performance through Finops process health measures
  • Support the creation and proposal of KPI targets to ensure strategic delivery is being under taken within Lean HQ, and that it is supported by the correct performance measures and reporting systems. Lead and accountable for the target setting process to drive operational performance. 
  • Understand Finance processes and draft performance measures to bring in line with best practice. 
  • Collaborate with the Lean HQ R2R, Group Reporting and Controls teams to ensure their requirements and issues are addressed and resolved as part of the governance meetings and operating model.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing organizations to ensure the delivery of transformation initiatives that enhance the customer journey.
  • Support a customer-centric culture within the organization, emphasizing empathy, professionalism, and effective problem-solving.
  • Create report on service performance to management, including status updates, risks, issues, key metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Support the develop and delivery of the Lean HQ process health framework and associated governance model.
  • Support the creation of reporting of the performance framework and associated governance model.
  • Support the creation of designed measures of baseline health for all processes
  • Support developing the process health targets to ensure accounting compliance and quality input to R2R.
  • Support the investigations into breakdowns in process and drive assessment/design of appropriate remediations.
  • Support the delivery of appropriate measures together with relevant automations for data collection

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience in financial processes
  • Baseline knowledge of accounting standards and the telecoms market
  • Good communication skills (written, oral and presentation) to summaries and explain complex issues to a variety of audiences.
  • Good skills to management partnerships and conflicts 
  • Good analytics, reporting and problem solving skills.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence on Management level (Staff and F band)
  • Bachelor Degree or sufficient work experience in Economics, Finance or IT
  • Excellent use of specific tools – Power Point, Work, Excel, SharePoint
  • Specific Change and or Project Management certification
