Responsibilities

Customer Interaction:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Provide information about available services, pricing, and schedules
  • Assist customers in choosing the most suitable options based on their needs and preferences

Booking and Reservation:
  • Process reservations accurately using booking software or systems according to the Reservation standards
  • Modify, cancel, or update reservations as requested by customers
  • Confirm reservations and provide clients with necessary details like booking numbers and itineraries
  • Monitoring the deposits, creating proforma invoices and proceeding the advance payments
  • Tracking the VIP guests and ensuring smooth communication with the relevant departments

Problem Resolution:
  • Handle complaints or issues related to bookings and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with internal teams or external partners to rectify errors or accommodate special requests

Upselling and Cross-Selling:
  • Recommend additional services or upgrades to enhance customer experience, maximizing sales, occupancy and room rates as well as upselling all aspects of the hotel
  • Promote discounts, packages, or loyalty programs to encourage repeat bookings

Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and reservations

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with reservation systems (Opera Cloud) and basic computer skills
  • High level of accuracy in handling bookings and client details
  • Ability to think critically and resolve issues promptly
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Skill in upselling and promoting services effectively
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Attention to details and precise work manner

A Reservation Agent is responsible for assisting customers in making reservations for various services, including travel, accommodation, transportation, or event bookings. They act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth and efficient booking processes while delivering excellent customer service.
