• Implement EMEA payroll operations aligned with global strategy and HR objectives.
  • Lead a team of 10-12, supported by 3-4 supervisors, ensuring service efficiency and risk mitigation while scaling the Budapest team.
  • Collaborate with vendors for accurate, timely payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and labor laws, resolving payroll issues proactively.
  • Oversee payroll reporting, tax documentation, and compliance manuals.
  • Work with Legal, Compliance, and Benefits teams to manage risks.
  • Drive process improvements, modernize payroll metrics, and enhance employee experience.
  • Develop best practices, KPIs, and SLA metrics.
  • Mentor and develop the payroll team for operational excellence.
  • Own operational and SOX controls, ensuring compliance.
  • Manage payroll projects within deadlines and budgets.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.

Elvárások:

  • College or university degree
  • 8-10 years of experience in international HR / Payroll
  • min. 3 years leadership experience
  • extensive understanding in payroll processes, systems and international operations
  • previous involvement with global payroll systems, preferably Workday or equivalent enterprise HR platforms are highly desirable
  • fluent English both in written and oral
  • full proficiency in Excel
  • excellent problem solving skills
  • outstanding communication abilities
