Junior Financial Accountant - Budapest

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations
  • Analyse foreign currency movements and support financial reporting activities
  • Prepare internal financial reports and supporting documentation
  • Record accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
  • Post and reconcile bank statements
  • Perform closing-related checks and ensure proper documentation
  • Actively participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Cooperate closely with group accounting and other business functions

• Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger / Record-to-Report (RTR) accounting
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Active and confident English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong Excel skills; Power Query knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience with Navision / Business Central is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven working style

They are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join their Budapest-based finance team.

The main responsibility of this role is to support month-end closing, general ledger accounting, and group-level financial reporting, while working closely with international stakeholders.
