HR Assistant

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Role purpose:

As a Learning & Development Assistant you are responsible for the delivery and onboarding of services according to overall strategy and customer expectations, within an agreed mandate, processes and corporate framework.


  • Own and update local onboarding information packages
  • Own, run, evaluate and further develop HR onboarding programs, according to customer need
  • Ensure that new employees are enrolled in assigned onboarding related training
  • Provide onboarding support by request in terms of training advisory
  • Own, run and facilitate learning activities in group-onboarding (e.g.: temporary holiday workers, interns, new leaders)
  • Assistance with administration of global/local physical programs/classroom courses upon request
  • Contribute in training organization for external TAILOR-MADE e-learnings
  • Assess and select content from avaliable external learning sources and set up learning pathways upon request
  • Setup surveys and test quizes for effectiveness and measurement into system for trainig evaluation
  • Create Training Agreement for learning courses upon request, following the internal policy
  • Offer end user support in authoring tools and ONE Learning
  • Upon request create / update / publish courses in one learning / assign courses /run reports
  • Manage instructor led courses in one
  • Create and update training catalogue (MANDATORY, non-mandatory courses) for bas and gbs
  • Uploading of quality assured courses
  • Manage learning contracts
  • Share relevant knowledge with colleagues and global HR network when applicable
  • Develop and continuously maintain information articles and forms in the HR Portal
  • Develop standard operational procedures where appropriate and maintain these
  • Collaboration with other teams to secure the best total delivery of GBS HR
  • Contribute on continuous improvement work


  • Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar field
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • HR experience in training or development field is an advantage
  • Affinity and interest in IT systems, MS Office tools
  • Experience in communication and coordination of suppliers, partners
