The French Payroll Senior role provides subject matter expertise and support in payroll delivery to local Payroll operation teams. Opportunity to partner with the Global Payroll engagement teams to drive Payroll delivery initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for partnering with the Global Payroll engagement teams to drive Payroll delivery.
  • Review delivery of payroll processing service, ensuring the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities (including Build to Gross and Gross to Net, Pay processing, Post payroll validation, T&A management and reporting) are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Good understanding in a few country legislations
  • Review and monitor for new code setup and monitor legislation changes are included in the processing.
  • Manage payroll system set-up including data migration and transition (on-boarding)
  • Work with multi-disciplinary functions (process & technology)
  • Actively work with Payroll Leader and internal team members in identifying and implementing the process standardization, simplification and automation opportunities.
  • Manage the authorized payroll applications
  • Effective work planning and capacity utilization to manage an efficient service delivery

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Prior experience in managing payroll for specific countries, high volume and multiple clients’ payroll will be a plus.
  • Exposure to multi-country payroll and payroll lifecycle in a Client service environment
  • Good understanding of a few payroll tools/technologies
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in Statutory and Pension contribution management
  • Experience in developing cross functional teams in a multi-disciplinary practice.
  • Proven ownership of delivering on strategic projects will be a plus
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Good experience on functional and product capabilities of ERPs like SAP, Oracle or Workday.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Good Project management skills
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills
  • French language knowledge at least on an intermediate level
