IF WE BREAK THIS ROLE DOWN INTO KEY TASKS, THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • learn Java development principles.
  • design and implement Java API microservices.
  • work with Java Spring framework, Docker and various PaaS solutions.
  • study large scale, cloud native software architectures.
  • gain experience working in agile DevOps methodology.
  • gain experience working at a fast-growing, truly colorful company.
  • work closely with senior engineer colleagues and mentors.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU POSSESS:

  • A full-time BSc/MSc student enrolled at a Hungarian university studying Computer Science or related studies
  • Required to complete a mandatory internship during your studies which is no more than 320 hours
     

About the internship:

  • Internship start date: 23rd June, 2025
  • Duration: 8 weeks (320 hours, 40 hours/week)
  • Recruitment process will end latest by 31st May (or when all roles are fulfilled)
     

The key requirements for the intern role are:

  • Fluent English skills.
  • Solid experience with Java and interest in extending your skills as a backend or full-stack developer.
  • Interest in API and microservice development in cloud native architectures.

 

... and it would be nice if you know:

  • Java Spring framework.
  • RESTful APIs and related concepts (API management, security, etc.).
  • Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform in any nature.
  • SQL or no-SQL databases.
