Lead Country Insight Partner

Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country's biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.
More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 3 countries structure with the Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

Support local business teams with general business, marketing and commercial performance related topics, complex customer insights and clear narratives to make sure business is navigated in the right direction. Providing a deep understanding of company market and customer perception performance, market dynamics, retail and shopper trends, customer behavior, and retail competitive landscape.

My accountability:

• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, knowing business strategy and priorities to deliver outstanding  joint up insight/ business recommendation with strong focus on customers
• Create country narrative, clear & impactful stories for overall Tesco performance, position & competitiveness vs market and feed into weekly / periodical reporting and meetings, QBR etc and feed CE insight team = Lead country performance projects, if needed prepare clear "analyses brief" for CE/ TBS team to be able to provide valuable outputs & insight overview
• Support decisions on performance opportunities via Insight consultation - Deliver market and customer understanding (as part of periodic updates), provide guidance for self service tools, potentially create Customer Insight brief. (only delivering end-to-end insight)
• Support Customer research - help to localize CE/ Country research from content inputs & localize language
• Delivering capability building across the local business using centrally developed inputs  (Nielsen, You Gov, etc …)
• Insight/ Price budget ownership

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• University degree
• 5+ years of professional working experience
• Advanced level of English language knowledge
• Experience in Research, Insight, shopper analytics, Strategy or Commercial roles in a fast-moving customer facing industry 
• Solid hands-on Research and Insight experience on both analytics and research
• Numerate Analytical & Presentation skills
• Consulting skills and Influencing
• Creative and structured problem solving
• Very strong Partnering skill, stakeholder management
• Collaboration mindset
