As a Payroll Specialist, your main tasks will include:

  • Providing payroll in an accurate and timely manner,
  • Ensuring that the outsourced provider receives all necessary data to complete the payroll,
  • Providing payroll data to third-party providers and responding to their questions promptly and with a service focus,
  • Verifying, confirming, and comparing all payroll data obtained from the outsourced supplier to ensure that all required SOX checks are carried out,
  • Assisting with year-end payroll activities and month-end balance sheet reconciliations,
  • Aiding in the execution of any internal or external audits,
  • Resolving payroll data issues raised by the outsourced payroll provider and escalating issues as necessary to the appropriate person, department, or authority.

You are the ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist position if you have:

  • 2 years of experience working in a multinational payroll function,
  • Preferably a university degree,
  • Experience working in a multicultural organisation,
  • Good knowledge of SOX processes,
  • Fluent English language skills; additional language skills would be an advantage.
